"MISSION #EXPLORERS OF NATURE"

PARTNERS

The "MISSION #EXPLORERS OF NATURE" project is the idea of transforming and searching for hidden treasures in the environment surrounding the school. Children will grasp the essence of a place that is familiar to them, building their own identity with the elements of nature (school garden, sea, forest, beach ...).A restart after the #distantimavicini lockdown in the DaD with attention to the environment; where the educational and didactic relationship comes back to life in compliance with the distancing of courtesy.

Nature is a treasure to be discovered and preserved and the idea of teaching nature, through outdoor education practices. Authentic experiences that reconstructed and reorganized become real didactic research in a natural and inclusive context. The transformation of hidden treasures of the environment surrounding the school and in the territory give rise to cathartic works such as mandalas and objects to be cataloged and displayed, creating compositions with a formal and aesthetic value that is first individual and then shared.Children will be free to propose, experiment, repeat, change, get excited, express choices and learn to evaluate risk, understanding constraints and possibilities. The materials, the sound languages that give quality to the natural environment, become an inclusive experiential response to the guidelines of the school plan 2020-21 and to the guideline document 0-6 in reference to the enhancement of the context as an active school that fosters integration of spaces.

A world in constant change requires us to be attentive, reactive and innovative to the transversal and joint objectives of the 2030 Agenda. In particular, with the project, the partners intend to develop knowledge and attitudes in children in support of the challenges for sustainable development, foreseen by the following GOAL:3 HEALTH AND WELLNESS14 LIFE UNDER WATER15 LIFE ON EARTH
