The Sun is a star. Stars are celestioal bodies that give out light and heat. Planets are celestial bodies that do not give out light. They orbit around a star. The stars and the planets that obirt them form planetary sistems. Our planetary system is called the Solar System. The Solar System and a lot of planetary systems group together to form galaxies. Our galaxy is called the Milky Way.

- MERCURY
- VENUS
- EARTH
- MARS
- JUPITER

There are 2 movements:
EARTH´S MOVEMENTS
- The Earth revolves around the Sun.
- It takes: 1 YEAR = 365 DAYS.
- This movement causes: THE 4 SEASONS: SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN AND WINTER.
- The Earth rotates around its tilted axis.
- This rotation takes: 1 DAY = 24 HOUR.
- This movement causes: DAY & NIGHT.
