A galaxy is a huge group of gas, stars, dust, and rocks that are together. Galaxies come in a lot of shapes and sizes.

The Solar System is made up of the Sun, planets, dwarf planets, moons, and asteroids.

There are eight planets in the Solar System.The Sun is in the centre of the Solar System and the planets move around the Sun.

The Sun is a star in the centre of the Solar System.The Sun is round. The Sun gives heat and light. The Sun doesn’t move.

• There are 24 hours in a day.
• There are 7 days in a week. The days of the week are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

• There are 365 days in a year

• There are 12 months in a year.
