What's been going on? A lot!
Around the library lately
Sixth-grade English classes have completed library orientation and seventh and eighth grade is next. Students can come to the library before school and during lunch, but they need a pass for lunch, so have them see the librarian first to receive one.Students must have their student IDs to check out books. Replacement IDs are $2 and can be paid for in the front office.
Starting Monday, Oct. 19, the Vanston Virtual Book Fair will be live. Use this site to browse and order any books you may want. There are more than 6,000 items with 1,000 at $5. There's something for everyone at all price levels. If you think the upcoming holiday season may make this appealing to family and friends, please share the link. All money raised will go toward more books for our library's collection. The best part is all orders ship to your home with free shipping on orders of $25 and up. Sale ends Sunday, Nov. 1.
