To generate some Structural Changes on the way my pupils learn and adapt the English Language into their lifestyle

To acomplish a meaningful learning regarding some english structures, new vocabulary, expressions and cultural features

Generating an Effective Pedagogical Mediation in Learning English with my current Third Grade pupils

PURPOSE

2. Communication

I will communicate my pupils and their families about the new initiative and its purpose.

4. Systematizing

Surveys applied in the middle and at the end of the process will be crutial for assessing the implementation of this Pedagogical Mediation.

3. Implementation

We develop the meaningful Learning experience and observe its process in order to adapt it to the circumstances.

1. Picking the best songs

I will choose the best 8 songs to be worked on along the two months established.

STEP BY STEP

My pupils are between 8 and 9 years old. They love learning English and they belong to a middle-high socio-economical context. Their favorite activities have changed drastically because of the pandemic because they used to play football soccer most of the time before, but now they have been spending their time at home, caring for their pets, and sharing as families. According to the time we have shared in academic experiences I could say they learn much better by listening, drawing, and doing. That is why I have considered their main needs and interests and I have found singing as a perfect strategy for them to optimize their learning time, but also to decrease anxiety and depression levels. cause by this long quarantine time.

Singing is a great way to encourage lerning and to decrease anxiety and depression levels.
