BHMS LibraryCurbside Checkout : Distance Learning
Follow these steps to request library books for curbside checkout.
Go to the Black Hawk Library Catalog (Destiny) and login.
After you've received the email saying your books are ready, sign up for a time to come to school on Mondays or Wednesdays to pick up your books in the Main Entry.
Search the catalog for the books you want to borrow. Click the "Hold" button on the upper right side. You can hold up to 4 books at a time.

1) Click on the "Library Media Center" link: https://bhms.district196.org/academics/library-media-center 2) On the right hand side under resources, click "Destiny Library Catalog" 3) Click "Log In" in the upper right hand corner 4) Username: Student ID Number 5) Password: Your school password (same as Collab or Schoology) 6) Click "Log In"
+ Schedule a pick-up time
By each Wednesday morning, you will receive an email message from Ms. Ninteman or Mrs. Edelman that your books are ready to be picked up. Schedule a time to get them using the link below. The books will be placed in manila envelopes or paper bags with your name on them in the main entryway of the school.
