Library motivators

This presentation summarizes the experience of the library of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (Ukraine) with readers; describes ideas of motivating young people to read, get acquainted with new books, attend library events.

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit higher education worldwide. Universities, colleges switched to work online or were forced to stop working.

Given today's trends, trying to diversify services and create comfortable conditions for cooperation, Ukrainian libraries are looking for and implementing new formats of interaction with readers.

Motivator (motivational poster) combines images and text that stimulates change, motivates to do something, changes the view of the main subject. The first line of the motivator is a well-known saying about libraries, books, reading. The second line is our motivational appeal to visit the library, ask questions to librarians, feel not alone, but in teams of like-minded people.
