He studies drawing at the Kansas City Art. Institute
He starts earning profits from the marketing of products with the image of Mickey Mouse.
He creates the character Oswald, a friendly bunny who stars in a whole series of short films.
After the failure of the company, he goes to Hollywood. He created the Disney Brothers studio with his brother Roy, which Ubbe Iwerks joined a year later.
He goes to Europe and participates in the First World War as an ambulance driver for the Red Cross.
