HOW means Cómo in Spanish and is the question that help us to know about the way something is done; the characteristics of an object, situation or person; and the extent of an activity. How do you learn English? I learn it by listening and reading. I learn fastly this way. How do you feel today? I feel happy. It's a great day! How far do you run in the mornings? I run very far. I normally get to the big park and then I come back.

ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS USING THE VOCABULARY ACCORDING TO THE CONTEXT. 1. How does your mom's food taste? 2. How do you learn new vocabulary words? 3. How big is your house? 4. How are your kids today? 5. How was your weekend? 6. How often do you exercise? 7. How do you prepare your favourite food?

These questions are all about using your 5 senses and emotions to get information about what’s going on around you. These are questions like: “how do you feel?” “how does it taste?”.

These are questions that will ask about the way you do an action, meaning which are the characteristics of the action someone is doing. For example, you can ask: “how do you run?” “how does she play the piano?”

We must answer this question by using ADVERBS to describe features about the action we are completing. For example: - How do you play football? - I think I play really fearlessly and quickly!

These questions are about the extent of something. For example, you can ask: “how excited are you?” “how hot is it outside?”"how quickly do you run? Notice that we will use the adjective or adverb next to HOW.

EXTENT

These are all questions that will be answered with a range of INTENSIFIERS. Intensifiers are words that can increase or decrease the level or degree of the characteristic we are talking about. We will use the intensifier just before the adjective or adverb that we were asked about, for example: -How hot is your coffee? -It's extremely hot!!

STRUCTURE

How + adj/adv + aux. verb + subject + main verb + complement? How happy do you feel today?

These are questions that ask how something is done and which are the steps you must follow to complete the action.For example:"How do you prepare cookies?""How do you build a fence?"
