St Patrick's Day - Limericks To celebrate St Patrick's Day students wrote limericks working in transnational groups. Have a look to some good ones HERE Teachers provided the appropriate scaffolding so that students who had no previous experience with limericks to be able to participate. Irish Legends- Instructions 1. Read the legend "Fionn and the Giant Causeway" 2. Rewrite the legend: Use "Fionn and the giant" as a basis to your story, but you need to apply 2 changes that the teachers gave you.ex. A leprechaum / GalwayBecause "Fionn and the giant" explains the creation of the Giant Causeway, you need to imagine a story with a leprechaun that would interfere in the creation of Galway city. 3. You're working with your international team. Each nationality writes a part of the legend (Introduction/problem/adventures/ending) 4. Some team members will illustrate the legends.
