Professional Development

Switching to remote learning was a massive challenge and staff have worked very hard to adjust to teaching, learning, and supporting learners through this time. At the beginning of June we launched the FET Professional Development Team, PD Hub together with Summer Sessions Live. The appetitie and committment to prepare for the 2020/2021 academic year is refreshing. The PDTEL Team are working on a strategy to support both you and your learners for the year ahead.

Approximately 20% of KWETB FET staff have joined the Professional Development Team in Microsoft Teams. Thank you to Centre Managers, Coordinators, Teachers, Tutors and Resource Staff for your cooperation to date. We aim to have all KWETB FET staff onboarded by the end of September 2020 - but we need YOU to share the news and tell your colleagues about joining the virtual PD Team where you will find the details of the exciting plans we have coming down the line.
