People throw bags made by plastic and they don’t know that a plastic bag takes one hundred years to disappear...

THERE IS NOT A PLAN B FOR THE PLANET!

Article: 118 words

This photo shows the rubbish in a public park of Jerez called “El parque de la laguna”. The people throw bags made by plastic and they don’t know that a plastic bag takes one hundred years to disappear and a bottle of PET takes one thousand years in disappear and this bottle can be recycled to make other things with it but the main problem is that the planet is dying and if we don’t do anything to solve this huge problem the planet is going to die because of us. The plastics affect the animals too because they can eat the plastics and they can die from eating plastics because the plastics are toxic for the animals.

Did you know that bubble gum has plastic in it?

This picture was taken in a park next to our school. It shows 2 yogurts that we found on the ground. This picture wasn’t edited and we didn’t put any filter either. We followed the steps we learnt in art class. It also shows some rocky dirt and some trees in the back that are degraded. This means people have to take more care of the environment. They could help by doing the three 3R’s: Reuse, reduce and recycle. Recycle: by recycling plastic bags, paper and glass. Reuse: by buying reusable shopping bags.Reduce: by buying less amount of things covered by plastic.

We can do it stop throwing plastics to oceans, you mustn’t do it you must recycle, do whatever is in your hand, come on humans we can solve this problem.

HUMAN: THE ASSASSIN OF THE EARTH

Article: 152 words

Don ́t judge the title, you know that this title is true, we are killing the Earth, you are killing the Earth at this moment because when you use anything of plastic you will throw it anywhere you must not do it but you are going to do it. A problem that should not exist, is existing and this problem is contamination, at first I thought it cannot be possible but now I am very sure that it can be possible, why? Because we are humans and we damage all we touch. But also we are humans and one thing I know of humans is that we can fix all we want, we cannot wait more, is our moment come on humans we can do it stop throwing plastics to oceans, you mustn’t do it you must recycle, do whatever is in your hand, come on humans we can solve this problem.

How lazy are the people!

If we continue doing these types of things we are going to kill the planet, so please we must give our help to try to save the environment.

1A Carlos Romero

And added to that he or she also doesn't care about the environment because that bottle will not disappear for a hundred of years or more. If we continue doing these types of things we are going to kill the planet, so please we must give our help to try to save the environment. Not dropping litter, if we see some rubbish take it and throw it into a container, reduce our production of carbon dioxide, and lastly obviously carry out the three "R",etc. We can do it!!!

How lazy are the people!

While I was walking to my house I found this empty water bottle on the ground. And then I decided to take a photo of it. When I look at this photo I feel disgusted with the person that has left the bottle because he or she must be so lazy, because a few meters there was a plastic container and that person could throw it in the container.

CLEAN THE SEA

This photo is about pollution in the sea. What I am trying to say is when we throw plastics into the sea the animals think that it is food and it is poison for them. So they eat it and die, that's why we find many dead fish in the sand with a lot of plastics inside them and in a future near if we continue like this when we are going to buy "fresh fish" the only thing that we would find is plastics. A possible solution is that we reduce plastic or we can find a way to do plastics but good for the environment, like bioplastics.

Tires pollute a lot and take 1000 years to decompose. In the photo you can see that it is in a field that on a hill there are a few tires mixed with grass and garbage that people were abandoning over time. That generates a very serious impact on the environment due to the products and that its components take many years to disappear and while it contaminates the land where they are placed. In this period of decomposition affects the fauna and flora of the area.

THERE IS NO OPTION B

We have chosen this photo because we think that people don’t take the problems that we are causing. This photo shows our reflection on how by just choosing paper instead of plastic or bike instead of car we help a little bit our planet which is damaged by our actions such as constructing, polluting, or hurting other natural habitat. We should try and recycle more often because in this way not only do we save the earth but we save us from destroying our planet. With this photo we try to express that the earth is not the only one damaged but is us.

CAPS TO THE RESCUE!!!!

We have chosen this photo because it is very important for us because when we drink a drink if we keep the caps we are helping the environment since we are recycling and helping other people to combat their disabilities since the caps can change the lives of these people. What we try to show with this photo is the way we can help the world. Almost everyone knows the effects of climate change, but very few bother to help the planet. And this is a very simple way. Help the planet and donate your caps!

A SIDEWALK WITHOUT FUTURE

When I took this photograph I got really annoyed. As you can see in the image at the right corners you can see two black "corners" but these corners are two bins, one of paper and the other of plastic. The worst of this is that I saw reusable resources such as a cardboard bag and a glass bottle (you can't see the bottle in the photo). What I am trying to say is that people don't seem to car. What will happen to Earth if we don't stop polluting? So you need to recycle to help our planet.

1B Pablo Guerrero

Another measure will be to use public transport and avoid using the car. We should take care of the environment every day.

POLLUTION ON EARTH

I have taken this photo because I think that human beings are contaminating our planet and our planet is in danger. We should recycle paper or use less plastic. This would be a good measure to avoid pollution. This photo represents the planet Earth with rubbish because the Earth is need to raise awareness that the Earth is not indestructible.

I would like to create a campaign in the school in which all children to participate and prohibited the use of plastic and the children only use tupperware to reduce the contamination. We need to think about the Earth not lasting forever. A lot of animals are in danger of extinction such as: bees, Koalas and pandas. In the future the sea level will have risen and a lot of continents will have disappeared. We need to raise awareness that the Earth is not indestructible.Think about the pollution. Please help the environment.

People who threw this here could easily throw it in a container because there were two bins next to it. All the people need to stop throwing rubbish because we are killing our planet, so everybody need to recycle, reuse and reduce, paper, plastic, metal so we will not pollute so much.

THE DIRTY COUNTRYSIDE

The photo is the reflection of what is happening in the environment nowadays. The photo was taken in the countryside. Next to houses from Jerez. You can see some makeup, deodorant, and beer bottles thrown in the floor. It seems that they have been there for some time because they are very poorly preserved. Plastic and crystal are very strong, is not easy to biodegrade it.

THE DAMAGE OF HUMANS

This image represents the damage that the human race is doing to our ecosystem. In oceans and rivers there is so much plastic that there is an island made out of plastic. According to scientists, in 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans. So, to help our oceans we can do these things: do not throw plastic in the oceans and rivers because fishes may eat them and die, use the least plastic as possible in our homes or reuse all the plastic that we can for example the plastic bags in the supermarket. Doing these little things we can help to reduce a little bit the problem that humans are causing.

What I want to show you with these photos is the trash in the street and the little appreciation that people have with the world. What I want to express with the message that the photo carries is that the Earth is suffering a lot and becoming contaminated. That same garbage bag can disintegrate in about 1000 years. If you can reduce pollution by recycling or collecting trash on the street do it.

BE THE EARTH, SEE HOW YOU FEEL

In this photo I’m trying to show that if we don’t throw rubbish where it belongs, and if we don’t recycle, things are going to get worse. As you can see there is aluminium foil. This type of foil is killing so many species and in the end it affects us too. In the photo there is also normal paper usually used in the kitchens. This type of foil also affects us, the animals surrounded and the environments, basically it affects earth. To save the world we can start recycling all the reusable things we have at home. We should buy things that we know that we are going to be available to use more than one time. We should try to use as little as we can.

K.O. TO EARTH

In this photo I show how we are really killing the planet. The problem of all this is that we notice it but we continue and this is really hard to solve. Plastic is usually used in all parts of the world because it is easy to make , cheap, and works well but the problem is when we finish using it , we throw it away, then it goes in a truck and we really don't know what they do with it. But then we see a a plastic island of between 710 000 km2 and 17 000 000 km2 and that's really a dilemma. Hopefully people are starting to recycle so maybe it is not too late to save the planet.

Here we have a green area with lots of vegetation but, those plastics are damaging the environment. If you throw trash anywhere instead of its correct place, serious environmental problems can happen, not only to the biodiversity that inhabits there, but also it can affect us and the planet. Nowadays there is a lot of trash anywhere you look. Oceans have a big amount of trash on their surface and that is killing the living beings on it. We should take care of our planet, as there is no plan B. If we all put our grain of sand, we can change the planet and the animals on it.

END OF THE PARTY

This photo is about the waste we leave after a weekend, the party ends, which we create or not affect the world around us. In this photo I also wanted to show the bullring where, after all, they kill living beings and it seems to me that although it is historical, it is still mistreatment. (This photo has been taken on Calle Circo in the bullring in Jerez De La Frontera)

My picture is representing the Earth as seen from a plastic bottle. Because the Earth is so contaminated that it is having more and more plastic and garbage on the earth. Not only is there garbage, but there is also contamination by vehicles, and by the pollution of the factories. We can improve the pollution of vehicles by using less private transport and more public ones, like the bus or the bicycle. Also we can recycle plastic, for example using plastic bags more than one time or using bamboo cutlery instead of plastic ones. If everyone in this world reduced their plastic and recycled their trash, our planet would be cleaner. This is very important because there is not a planet B.
