Damaged pipes release more carbon dioxide in the air! On the contrary a car with a 3-way catalytic converter reduces nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbons emissions by 90%.

Plastic is dangerous because it lasts forever! Eight million tons of plastic objects wind up in our oceans each year. Once at sea, sunlight, wind, and wave action break down plastic waste into small particles, the so-called microplastics which have been found in the bellies of sea animals and in the humans' stomach that eat those animals.

Excesses are always dangerous! Your central heating uses energy to work. The more energy we use, the more we pollute unless we use renewable energy!

Even plastic bags can be very dangerous! They pollute the soil and the sea. Have you ever heard of the big "Plastic Island" in the Pacific Ocean? Trash is scattered over an area of ocean which is as big as Texas, or Turkey, or Afghanistan. Half of the entire patch is made of plastic fishing nets and ropes which come from the fishing activity near the area. The other half is mostly hard plastics like water bottles and plastic wrap…

Plastic is destroying every ecosystem Millions of animals are killed by plastic every year. Some animals are strangled by abandoned fishing lines or nets. Other animals mistake plastic objects for prey. Their stomachs are completely full of plastic so they can't eat and die of starvation.

Would you spray pesticides on your dinner? So why do you spray them on your garden? You'll avoid soil pollution and you'll eat healthier food!

Sprays release chemical substances which are also polluting! Do you really need to spray an air freshener to make your home feel nice? Why not just open a window instead of breathing substances which are dangerous for the environment and for your health?

Plastic is here to stay: Nearly every piece of plastic ever made and thrown away still exists today because there is no organism that can break it down completely. Everyone knows about the three Rs: Reduce, re-use, recycle. But now a fourth R has joined the other three. It's the R of Refuse! We have to say NO to single-use plastics like bags, bottles or food containers.

We just have 1 planet, so let's take care of it! If we don't dispose domestic waste or industrial waste properly, harmful substances and chemicals leach into the ground. Materials like plastic bottles and cans remain buried and intact for thousands of years, leaching chemicals into the ground. Electronic products that contain heavy metals like lead and mercury also leach poisonous toxins into the ground. These chemicals and heavy metals sometimes reach the underground water system and pollute our water bodies. Land pollution can exterminate wildlife and disrupt the balance in nature. The chemicals found in polluted land could be absorbed by plants, and be transferred to animals and humans who eat the plants.

Driving fast damages the environment! Experts say that when we drive at 50mph we use 25% less fuel than when we drive 70mph.
