Welcome to our Nursery

Welcome to Blouberg International School!My name is Samantha Kiley and I have been Academic Head of the Junior School for the past 15 years, which starts at Nursery with children aged 2½ and goes right through to Year 6, which is the year our children sit their final Progression Tests for entry into Year 7, being our first year of High School. The school was only 3 years old when I joined the Blouberg International family, although our holding group, IES has been in operation for the past 125 years. Our staff is both nationally and internationally trained in both the English National Curriculum and Cambridge Primary Programme. Our curriculum covers the holistic development of each child; offering not only an internationa l prospectus, but life long learning skills in sport, cultural activities, as well as Mathseeds, Mathletics and Reading Eggs, which are all online additional learning tools. During their Coding and Robotics lessons, the children gain further knowledge about the world around them and how to best navigate life’s challenges. Healthy Living

Nursery School Children are supplied with two balanced meals and 3 healthy snacks each day. There is a formal programme and children are given opportunities to do physical activities during their school day.

• School times are 06:30 to 18:00
• Uniform is obtained from our online uniform stockist
• Our Nursery School children may enter the school from age 2
• Learning resources such as textbooks are supplied by the school
