Workforce Assessment is an interrogative process where we ask questions on conditions of everyone in a workplace. The questions are both experiential and observational, giving us a 360 degree view. And are drawn from a framework for "decent work" derived from a set of 10 Principles of international human rights law. The questions are asked in real time, on a continuing randomised basis across the year.

Like a desk audit, but better, Policy & Lehal Compliance tests you against benchmarks built on all relevant international legal obligations, as well as in compliance with all more specific modern slavery and supply chain due diligence laws. It is a checklist-style, supportive process where if you don't have the right policy, we help you make one.

No oragnisation exists in isolation: everyone has a network, whether it be suppliers, clients, investors and investees, members. This process means you invite the business partners you have into the system, and they become "joined up" with you. If you have products that reach consumers, for example, then you ingeredient supply chain is crucial to map and investigate. If you are an impact investing firm, your investors will want to know the chains of those you are putting money into.

The ethical consumer is a crucial part of the solution to modern slavery, because what they demand, sellers will supply, especially if in sufficient quantity to make business of it. The means to distribute human rights reports to consumers include a consumer app and an online marketplace, as well as numerous webhooks into other e-commerce sites and consumer apps. Real-time data, on your phone, while you shop.

Professional buyers, both public and private, have a huge role to play in ending modern slavery in supply chains. Public procurers can entirely change supplier behaviours simply through 'preferring' human rights compliant products; what counts in a bid evaluation, counts to the bidder. Likewise private buyers looking to source ethically are always looking for shortcuts; ethical sourcing is a tough business.

Our forthcoming Good Shopper app will help you identify and find goods Made in Freedom, whether by scanning products in-store, or searching.

While we build up supply of goods made in Freedom, it is crucial we communicate demand to suppliers, to encourage them. Campaigning in the Good Shopper app is the way; think like change.org.

Think ethical Ali Baba, or ethical Amazon, shop online for only human rights compliant products, only goods Made in Freedom, with real time data to prove it.
