If + Present Simple (III os.l.poj. + s,lub +es do czasownika, don’t/ doesn't) + Present Simple

Tryb warunkowy zerowy stosujemy:

  • w odniesieniu do prawd ponadczasowych.
  • w odniesieniu do zjawisk, które zachodzą zawsze, gdy są spełnione określone warunki.
  • Wyraz "if" można zastąpić wyrazem "when"

The zero conditional sentences

  • If bees are sick, they don't leave their hives.
  • If you cut off the dead branches every winter, the tree grows strong the next year.
  • If John sees a wasp, he runs away.

The zero conditional sentences

  • If you water pot plants too much, they die.
  • If the weather is nice, Grandpa always eats lunch in the garden.
  • If it rains, worms come out of the soil.

The zero conditional sentences

  • If plants don't get any sun, they don't grow very well.
  • If bees are sick, they don't look for honey.
  • If you mix black and white, you get grey.
