You are a rural emergency physician working the night shift in a busy emergency department. You receive a patch from EMS that there has been a bus crash, and they’re bringing in 8 patients, all of whom are in critical condition. EMS has begun resuscitating the patients with saline fluid boluses, but they tell you that each patient will likely require at least one blood transfusion if they are going to survive.

In the chaos of the crash and the limited staff available on night shift, you receive only fragments of each patient’s medical history. You know that each patient has a different blood type, and that you have a limited supply of blood in your blood bank, and a limited amount of time. Correctly transfuse each patient to save their lives and to escape the emergency department!
