MARS ADVENTURE WİTH STEM MA-STEM

1. TEAM

We were tasked by NASA with mining the asteroid belt between Earth and Mars.

We did this special work as a “MaStem “ study team.

We interviewed astronauts who took part in space mission before. Their experience in space mission guided us.

We prepared well for our mission by preparing as a team for this exciting adventure.

We created a habitat on Mars and studied the surrounding asteroids.

Mars is close to the sun in our galaxy 4. Planet. It is also called the Red Planet.

It has a fine atmosphere. It has 2 satellites. Earth is a planet that possesses volcanoes, valleys, deserts and polar regions.

We have explored the sources of iron, gold, platinum and palladium reserves from important mines also found in asteroids.

Because there are dwindling resources on Earth, asteroid mining is crucial to the future.

It has not been easy to find and study asteroids traveling at 20 thousand km per hour in space.

Living conditions on Mars were very different from Earth . The most exciting feeling is the feeling of flying freely in the air, the feeling of lightness and freedom.

And the sense of living space in three dimensions was extraordinary for us.

Because there were no plants in space, the carbon dioxide level in the cabin was very high. We used a special technology to bring it down.

We did physical exercise every day for our physical health. Our food was edible in the space environment.

It was exciting to live in a non-gravitational environment. We returned with success.
