Healthy lifestyle
Practicing healthy habits from an early age is important if you want to live a long life full of energy and vitality. In this lesson you will learn what healthy habits are, examine if you practice them. You will learn how to lead a healthy active lifestyle on a daily basis. You will learn about food groups, exercise, sleeping habits and personal hygiene. You will complete tasks and activities on healthy habits.

- During the next weeks, we are going to work on a project about healthy lifestyle.
- You will have to do different tasks that will result in a final video.
- You are going to work in groups of 4 or 5 (the same groups from class).
- All your tasks will be organised in the weekly plan you will find at the end of the presentation.
- Apart from the teacher's evaluation of your tasks, you will have to evaluate other groups' work, as you will see later.

- Work in the same groups of 4 or 5 people that we had in class.
- To communicate among yourselves, use Whatsapp groups, email or even phone calls!
- You can share your presentation using Google Drive.
- This must be cooperative work. Each member must do his/her part. Group work is not individual work put together.
- Each group is going to work about "Healthy Lifestyle".
- First, you will reflect individually on your daily habits through a survey and a quiz.
- You will also have to read some information about healthy habits, depending on your section.
- Then, you are going to do a presentation about your topic, and a final video.
- Finally, you will have to mark your classmates' videos.

- Upload your video to Google Classroom.
- Watch all your classmates videos and mark them following the marking criteria I will show you.
1 INDIVIDUAL INTRODUCTORY WORK
- Reflect on the introductory questions and see the initial video.
- Answer the survey questions and check your result.
- Do the Healthy Kids quiz and check your result.
- Write down 5 or 6 lines as a conclusion about your lifestyle. Is it healthy? Think about all the introductory work to get your ideas for the paragraph.

4 PREPARING A PRESENTATION
- Prepare a presentation including the following information:
- Each group member's introductory paragraph about his/her lifestyle.
- Your summary and the images you could find in the website.
- Use Power Point or any other tool you want.
3 READING WEBSITE
- Read all the information on the website about your topic.
- Select the important information.
- Do a summary of all this information.
- Select the best images on the page.

- Can you find any differences between a healthy lifestyle and an unhealthy lifestyle?
