This week we are going to help the Social Science Wizard review all the contents we learned in this History unit. Pay attention to him and, if you complete all the missions, he will give you an angry and sad mandrágora plant. STEP 1: First, open you social science notebook. There you have all the work you did during the unit. If you have any questions or need some answers, you will find them there! STEP 2: Now, let´s see some examples of work done by you! During these weeks the social science wizard has saved some of your work and here it is. Watch carefully all the amazing things your classmates and you have created: 1: Video from Valeria, drawing The Alhambra of Granada. Don´t forget to write the date, the title, and PLEASE USE A RULER. This way the mind map will look nicer. STEP 4: When you finish your mind map, send a picture of your notebook to Irene. STEP 5: If you followed all the previous steps, you are ready to solve the lock. Look at the last word you added to the map. Do you see it? The English Witch wants to finish unit 8 this week. Remember, in this unit we are working on the Past Continuous and the Past Simple. She has some challenges for you. She said that if you complete all of them, she will give you a present: a baby mandrágora plant. Are you ready to get your baby mandrágora? Let´s go! STEP 1: First, let´s play a game to warm up. Ahora, busca una parte de la casa, un escenario, donde crees que se podría grabar una buena escena de una película, hazle una foto. Después, describe esa escena, que ves, a qué género de cine podría relacionarse, que se podría grabar allí… Recuerda y utiliza la rúbrica de la descripción que aparece en la sesión 11. Cuelga el classroom tu foto junto a la descripción. MISIÓN 3 SESIÓN 11: ENVUÉLVEME Realiza la actividad del dictado. Cuelga la foto del mismo corregido en classroom. En éste nuevo mapa tendréis que superar dos misiones. Comenzamos nueva unidad: LA MEDIDA DEL TIEMPO. ¡ÁNIMO! MISIÓN 1: COMPRENDE LA TEORÍA SOBRE LA MEDIDA DEL TIEMPO Y REALIZA LAS ACTIVIDADES/RETO QUE OS PROPONEMOS. En estas nuevas misiones comenzaremos una nueva unidad, en ella os ponemos teoría necesaria para superar los retos y las actividades. No será necesaria copiarla en el cuaderno. UNIDAD: LA MEDIDA DEL TIEMPO HORAS, MINUTOS Y SEGUNDOS. La hora, el minuto y el segundo son unidades de tiempo. Todas ellas forman un sistema sexagesimal. Cada una es 60 veces mayor que la unidad inferior. En el cuadro podemos ver como pasar de una unidad a otra.

• 1 minuto = 60 segundos
• 1 hora = 60 minutos = 3600 segundos

Para superar esta misión deberás realizar las siguientes actividades AHORA HAZLO TÚ MISMO 1. Expresa en minutos (para ellos utiliza la tabla, multiplica o divide por 60):120 segundos, 480 s y 4200 s 2. Expresa en horas (para ello utiliza la tabla, multiplica o divide por 60 o 3.600, en el último caso puedes quitar los mismos ceros en el dividendo y divisor para poder dividir más fácilmente):

1. 420 m
2. 2940 m
3. 10800 s

3. Observa las siguientes horas de relojes y calcula cuántos minutos han pasado. De las 9:12 a 9:30 De las 16:30 a 16:45 De 5:15 a 5:25 De 21:05 a 21:35 4. Ahora debes realizar una activad en la tendrás que expresar una unidad de minutos y segundos larga en: horas, minutos y segundos. Por ejemplo, si os doy 135 minutos, sabemos que son más de dos horas, porque una hora son 60 minutos… Pero, tenemos que hacer una operación para saber además cuántos minutos tiene. Por lo tanto, dividiremos 135:60, el cociente serán las horas (2 horas) y el resto los minutos (15 minutos). En el otro caso, 435 segundos, sabemos que son varios minutos, porque un minuto son 60 segundo, pero para saber cuántos son, se divide entre 60. El cociente serán los minutos (7 minutos) y el resto los segundos (12 segundos). Calcula haciendo las divisiones: - 763 minutos , divide entre 60 y averigua las horas y minutos que contiene. - 542 segundos, divide entre 60 y averigua los minutos y segundos que contiene. Misión finalizada, hazle foto y envíala por classroom. MISIÓN 2: 1º ESCUCHA ESTE AUDIO.
