The Water Cycle
Evaporation is the process by which molecules in a liquid state (for example, water) spontaneously become gaseous (eg, water vapor). It is the opposite of condensation. Generally, evaporation can be seen by the gradual disappearance of the liquid when exposed to a significant volume of gas.
Condensation is the process of water vapor turning back into liquid water, with the best example being those big, fluffy clouds floating over your head.
