To make comparative sentences we need to use ADJECTIVES.But in comparative sentences adjectives will en with-er .Or if the adjective has 3 or more syllables we will add the word more in front of the adjective. We also need to use the wordthan.
How do we form a comparative sentence?
Let's take a closer look at theshort adjectives
If the short adjective already finishes in -e
If the short adjective finishes in y, we change the y for an i and add er
If the adjective only has one syllable and ir ends in a vowel followed by a consonant, we double the consonant and add er
All the rest
The kitten is cuter than the crocodile.
The monster is uglier than the girl.
The elephant is bigger than the ant.
