Dua Lipa is an English singer, songwriter, and model. Her musical career began at age 14, when she began covering songs by other artists on YouTube. In 2015, she was signed with Warner Music Group and released her first single soon after. In December 2016, a documentary about Lipa was commissioned by The Fader magazine, titled See in Blue. In January 2017, Lipa won the EBBA Public Choice Award. Her self-titled debut studio album was released on 2 June 2017. The album spawned seven singles, including two UK top-10 singles "Be the One" and "Idgaf" and the UK number-one single "New Rules", which also reached number six in the US. In 2018, Lipa won two Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

Dua Lipa has released two studio albums, four extended plays (EPs), 16 singles (including four as a featured artist), 21 music videos, one reissue and six promotional singles. In 2015, Lipa released "New Love" as her debut single. Her second single "Be the One" reached the top 10 in multiple countries and attained a double platinum certification in Australia, Italy, Netherlands, and Poland. Her fourth and fifth singles "Hotter than Hell" (2016) and "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" (2016) both went top 30 in the UK and received platinum and gold certifications respectively. The latter also became the singer's first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 72, and went gold. In March 2017, Lipa scored three simultaneous top 15 singles in the United Kingdom with "No Lie" (a collaboration with Sean Paul), "Be the One" and "Scared to Be Lonely" (with Martin Garrix).
