Plans for the future

How to use "to BE GOING TO"and the Present Continuous for the future.

Ta lekcja pomoże wam zrozumieć, w jaki sposób możemy opisywać nasze plany i zamiary w języku angielskim, wykorzystując konstrukcję TO BE GOING TO i czas PRESENT CONTINUOUS.

When you decide to do something in the future you make a plan or have an intention. A plan can change, it's not 100% certain:I'm going to drive to Warsaw tomorrow.

BE GOING TO

Wyrażenia TO BE GOING TO używamy, aby opisać plany i zamiary. Nasze plany mogą jeszcze ulec zmianie w przyszłości.

Sometimes we can see that something is going to happen:Look at the sky, it is going to rain.

BE GOING TO

Wyrażenia TO BE GOING TO możemy użyć także, aby wyrazić przypuszczenie, że do jakiegoś wydarzenia dojdzie, ponieważ wskazują na to obecne okoliczności.

We can use the Present Continuous to talk about arrangements for the future. Arrangements are plans, but we are sure they will happen:-What are you doing on Saturday?-It's my birthday, I'm having a party!

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Czasu PRESENT CONTINUOUS używamy, aby opisać czynność przyszłą, która została już zaplanowana.

The Present Continuous suggests that the arrangement is more fixed, with a time and a place:We are leaving for France on Monday. We have already bought the tickets.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Czasu PRESENT CONTINUOUS używamy jeśli nasze plany na przyszłość są sprecyzowane, a ich czas lub miejsce zostały określone.
