I sing, chat and

play with you,

Tell you stories old

and new.

I teach you to use

scissors and glue,

To tell any colour,

be it pink or blue.

Sick pets are my main

concern,

That is how I make my

earn.

On foot or by bike

I move around

Bring post to the houses

and don’t make a sound

I sell you all the things

you need in a shop

, Like food, drinks

and even a mop

I work on tanks, valves

and washers,

Wherever there is need

of water. I am much

needed, in homes and

schools,

Offices, parks and

swimming pools.

Looking after your hair

when I’m on duty,

After it all you will feel

like a beauty.

I love flying in the sky

like a bird,

So high, it seems absurd.

I’m often seen in or

around a law court,

where I fight cases of

many a sort. I defend the

innocent to set them free,

I gather evidence to punish the guilty.

I help around the school

and keep it clean,

You might even see me in

the canteen.

I’m so heroic and so

amazing,

I don’t just put out the

fires blazing.

In any kind of critical

situation,

I serve without

hesitation!

I treat your coughs, and

make your fever flee.

If you have a sore throat,

a scratched elbow or

knee, simply come, and

visit me!

Circuits, meters,

switches and plugs and

electrical wires,

I fix these and maintain

them, preventing shocks

and fires.

Through your stomach

I find a way

into your heart

that’s what they say

To defend my country, I

fight,

I guard its borders

day and night

I design buildings for you,

With many storeys or just a few.

With different textures and colours

, And materials I do wonders.

I patrol your city, night

and day,

Face many dangers,

come what may.

I detect and prevent

crime,

Arrest law-breakers, and

charge them a fine.

I’m so skilled

there’s nothing I

can’t build

I repair broken

things too

I work with a

hammer, wood and

glue!

I check your body

temperature,

Also record your blood

pressure.

I make sure you’ve taken

your medication,

I’m also trained to give

you injections.
