My trusty garden fork. I had to use it to break up the soil before I planted my vegetables; just like we do at school.
Coriander (it looks like flat leaf parsley). Great chopped up and sprinkled on curries, salads, pad thai. It likes growing in winter but in summer it bolts. That means the plant makes seed not leaves.
I loved seeing the Rainbow Silverbeet at school so I've planted some too. I wonder how quickly it will grow.
I didn't plant this Flat Leaf Parsley, it seeded itself.
I've planted lettuce between the Rainbow Silverbeet and Bok Choy because it will grow much quicker than those vegetables.
My Sage plant has been here all summer so it is much bigger than the seedlings.
I haven't grown Bok Choy before so I'm looking forward to watching it grow (and eating it!)
My Rosemary plant. This herb has been here for a while. It loves the sun so grew well all summer. I chop its leaves up and sprinkle them on potatoes when I roast them in the oven.
This is Cress, like Watercress but easier to grow. It tastes a little bit spicy!
