Integrating SDGs in ELT projects
- What are the SDGs?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
Sustainable Development Goal
The goals are mostly about the global challenges in the world, they are related to several issues like poverty, health, environment etc, and they are all interconnected. Our objective as teachers is to spread the word about these goals so that our pupils become a powerful force for achieving the UN’s vision of a more peaceful, healthy and equitable world.
