For a tonne of cement we spend almost 1,75 tonne of natural materials.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

800 kg of CO2 is blown into the air.

It produces 550000 tons of cement which is about 40% of Slovenian consumption.Garbagge is also burned there.

CEMENT PLANT TRBOVLJE

2008- nitrogen oxide reduction device was placed, which lowers the emissions for more than 50% from previos values.

2007- deshulphurisation device was placed, 97% of sulphure dioxide emissions was reduced

Due to the pressure from Ekokrog and the rest of the public, they closed it in 2015.
