The Story Of The Turtles
The last mother turtle also left the beach. He would not see any of the offspring that would hatch from the eggs he left. A new life struggle started with the first hatchlings hatched after 2 and a half months. The puppies who had to go to the sea following the moonlight had already met the first exams. Curious people waiting for the turtles were selfishly scaring them and preventing them from going to the sea. These selfish people caused the turtles to be surprised by the flash they opened to take pictures.

The man who warned them shouted that they had to close their flash or that they could not go to the sea. But people who didn't care about it still kept taking photos. With the support of other people, all flashes went out. Turtles traveling towards the sea had to pass the obstacles on the beach. These barriers were garbage left by people.

Plastic bags, bottles and many more waste garbage were scattered all over the beach. Irresponsible people who came to the beach for fun did not care about other creatures while leaving their garbage on the beach. The man who shouted for those who just took photos told them this time to clean the turtles' roads, and people started to clean the trash. Finally the turtles managed to reach the sea. But they didn't know what would happen to them in that big ocean.

Sea turtles are only seven species in the world and they are all more or less threatened with extinction.A large amount of waste and pollutants are released into the oceans each year.

THE TURTLES IN THE OCEAN PLASTICSea turtles are affected by plastic during every stage of their life. They crawl through plastic on the way to the ocean as hatchlings, swim through it while migrating, confuse it for jellyfish (one of their favorite foods), and then crawl back through it as adults. Hundreds of thousands of sea turtles, whales, and other marine mammals, and more than 1 million seabirds die each year from ocean pollution and ingestion or entanglement in marine debris.

What can you do to help?
- Participate in coastal clean-ups and reduce plastic use to keep our beaches and ocean clean.
- Keep nesting beaches dark and safe for sea turtles. Turn off, shield, or redirect lights visible from the beach. Lights disorient hatchling sea turtles and discourage nesting females from coming onto the beach to lay their eggs.
- Fill in holes and knock down sandcastles before you leave the beach. They can become obstacles for nesting turtles or emerging hatchlings.

Sea turtles are going to disappear so we must act quickly, we are their last hope...We only have to see the photo to realize the danger we do to sea turtles Mathis
sea turtles are affected
Because sea turtles use both marine and terrestrial habits during their life cycles, the affects of climate change are likely to have a devastating impact on these endangered species. Climate change affects nesting beaches. With melting polar ice caps and rising sea levels, beaches are starting to disappear. Justyna-Lıtjuania
We need to restrain using plastic start by ourselves
We can using alternatives of things which everyone applies every day. For example, instead of plastic bags for breadstuff or vegetables we can use material bags which are reusable. We can also start buying dishes of natural components for barbecue party or camping. By doing this we can clean up environment and save endangered species such as sea turtles. Karina, Poland
The largest pieces of marine plastic debris, miles long discarded fishing nets and lines mostly, take an obvious toll on animals. These derelicts nets, called ghost nets, snare and drown thousands of larger sea creatures per year, such as seals, sea lions, dolphins, sea turtles and other creatures. Acting as designed, these nets restrict movement causing starvation, laceration, infection, and, in animals that need to return to the surface to breathe, suffocation.
