Make sure you address the people who have the authority to make your proposition come true. They will be your target audience. Don't forget to submit a copy of this text to your teacher. *Unless specified by your teacher you do not really need to contact the chosen audience.

Make sure you announce the goal of your communication.

The introduction provides the context. Why are you trying to communicate with these people?

Clearly state what you would like to do to commemorate the person you chose also try to include where and how.

The body of your text will focus on why you want to commemorate this person. This is where you will expose your arguments, explain them and support them to convince your audience that your proposition is a realistic and inspiring project.

In this paragraph, the student was able to justify the location of his commemorative project in relationship with the people involved using the commemorated person's biggest achievement.

In this paragraph, we can see who and why the commemorated person can inspire with this project at that location using various supporting elements from the texts: various achievements, obstacles this person faced, inspiring aspects that summarize the person's inspiring story.

Here is another convincing argument. This one is composed of characteristics of the inspiring person in relationship with the chosen commemorative project and its location.

The conclusion recaps the arguments and the idea of the commemorative project.

A quote taken directly from one of the texts has been re-used but the source is clearly mentioned.
