Study,S p o t s,Market District has long been a favorite of students for studying for exams. It has a vast upstairs seating area with larger tables for discussion and group collaboration and is close in proximity to the school, making it an ideal spot. It has an in-store Starbucks and sells every snack imaginable to fuel long hours spent leaning over review guides.,M a r k e t d i s t r i c t,There are many Starbucks locations in UA proper for studying. Pictured here is the Lane Avenue Location, which has a larger seating area than the Tremont location. Starbucks is certainly known for keeping up with holiday flavor trends and is a convenient spot for students to study. If you’re planning to stay up later than 9:00 pm, when most Starbucks locations close on the inside, check out the Olentangy location, which keeps it’s inside area open a few hours later.,S t a r b u c k s,Barnes and Noble has the perfect mixture of a coffee shop and library vibe. Although smaller, it’s study area is rarely packed and has various types of lighting for those who prefer natural light or fluorescents to illuminate their work. It is also complete with an in-store Starbucks (although you can’t use Starbucks gift-cards or the Starbucks app which is an unfortunate downside) for anyone needing that caffeine kick.,B a r n e s & N o b l e,Grandview Grind can be a bit of a tighter squeeze, however once you find your spot, you will be all cozied up and will never want to leave. With it's wooden interior and smaller space, it is a warm friendly place, that’s best to get that study grind going. Their amazing sweets and friendly staff is definitely a highlight.,g r a n d v i e w g r i n d,Alchemy Kitchen is definitely on the healthier side. When stress eating before finals, this is the place to go. Alchemy Kitchen differs from Alchemy Café in that it has more study space and more food options. This place is bound to put you in happier mood, from their nice staff, to their vibrant space. It’s calm, relaxing and quiet throughout the day.,a l c h e m y k i t c h e n,Although Staufs can be a loud place to study, it is busy for a reason. It offers much seating and freshly brewed coffee. It also offers a wide variety of desserts, and if you get there before 3:00 pm, then you can taste something from their kitchen menu (which is delicious). For the noise, earbuds and some music should tune it right out. It also closes at 10:00 p.m. which is great for late night cramming.,s t a u f s,If you are the type of person who needs complete silence while studying, then the Tremont Library is for you. With multiple tables in various locations throughout the building and several comfortable armchairs available, it has a much calmer atmosphere than a coffee shop and is bound to allow a bit more concentration. Most of the tables here are also larger and more convenient for collaboration.,t r e m o n t l i b r a r y
