Causes of deforestation

The main cause of deforestation is agriculture and the main cause of forest degradation is illegal logging.It is often thought that the defrestation of forests and jungles only generated a fact effects in the closest enviroments,However, the damage that is generated is global. Trees have the power to convert CO2 into oxygen throught the preocess of photosynthesis , thereby contribuying to reduce their number, the concentration of CO2 and other gases will be higher and, therefore, the terrestial temperatures will increase. We are losing 18.7 million acres of forests annually, equivalent to 27 soccer fields every minute.Because of the increase of temperatures,diseases spread.This is one of the worsts causes of global warming.

A temperature change of several degrees can make the temperate zone more welcoming to the spread of certain diseases. In this way, cases of Chagas disease, dengue fever or other diseases that are forgotten in developed countries and in areas that have traditionally been colder can begin to occur.
