PRIMARY SCHOOL
IN MORAWICA

Our school is located in the south-east of Poland in the Świętokrzyskie province. We live in the heart of the Holy Cross Mountains, one of the oldest in Europe and one of the most beautiful ones.

Where are we from?

Our patron

The patron of our school is Kornel Makuszyński who was a famous Polish writer. He is known for great books for children. Every year on 8 January celebrate his birth anniversary.

We are a primary school. There are over 450 students in our school and about 35 teachers.

The youngest ones are 5 years old and the oldest one are 15 years old. There is a kindergarten, too.

OUR STRATEGY

The schools has got an innovative approach, so the teachers work on numerous innovations.

The school promotes health education, safety. It supports creativity, collaboration.

In the previous years the school worked on 2 Comenius projects.
"Europe Without Barriers"(2007-2009) and "Let's play together like Grandpa" (2011-2013)
Our school is very active in eTwinning. 12 projects were awarded National Quality Labels and 7 European Quality Labels. In 2018 it became an eTwinning school. Last year our partner school from Spain visited our school.
We are open to new initiatives.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

There are 35 students working on 'Our English Corner' project.

We hope to make friends from abroad, improve our English skills and work on a magazine.
