E-TWINNING PROJECT

SWEEPBALL / PILOTA VALENCIANA

1.PRESENTATION:In my eTwinning project, we have decided to share with our European colleagues, a traditional Valencian sport called, ¨pilota valenciana. I call it ¨sweepball¨ because students learn skills that pertain to the sport, a little bit of history, as well as the utilization of digital media in order to collaborate on the twinspace platform with other students from Greece and other European cities if they like. This year they have approved a KA-101 and we plan to fulfill a jobshadowing with our colleague Giannis in March 2020. With our colleague Giannis, who is located in Greece, we will work together on the future project. I have integrated the project in my yearly planning and I will prepare lessons/task to present to my colleagues once I receive confirmation that the project has been approved by the National Service. The project will last 6 months, with programmed sessions that follow a line of work.

OBJECTIVES:I truly hope that it comes to fruition. 1. To get to know other cultures and European countries. 2.-To promote the internationalization of the center. 3-To share specific content from the Valencian community in different contexts, situations, and opportunity. 4.-To demonstrate the positive values and respect that different individual and collective games bestow upon us 5.-To better the skills with the utilization of digital tools that attend to the age and the security of the student. 6.-To develop linguistic capacities in different language. 7.-To increase the awareness of multiculturalism and multilingualism in Europe by discovering where ¨pilota valenciana”is played in and outside of our country. 8.-To better the contents of physical education through a process of internationalization. As described in the KA-101 project, ¨Families and teachers exploring the future,¨ not only in physical education, but also in other áreas. 9.-To better the artistic competence

METODOLOGIES: oAccording to the innovative methodologies that we are currently working on in the elementary school, we thought that it would be a project where task are fulfilled that use cooperative and collaborative learning; the flippedclassroom for the visualization of videos and investigative task. Utilization of the TIC with sessions in the informatic classroom together with previous links selected by me, the students will fill out a form with questions for the knowledge of this sport in the Valencian community and the importance in the school. In the Twinspace, fulfilled task will be uploaded utilizing simple tools of digital competence.

The project deals with sharing the cultures of different countries, interchanging information of distinct traditional themes and fulfill as a final product, a digital book that goes over everything that was learned. The portfolio of the twinspace page will also take the process of the project, such as the audios from the English sessions or explicative videos of the games. The following themes will be: -Different types of games -Specific vocabulary -European locations where they have played “pilota valenciana” -Design and create new games with other variants -Enjoy the “pilota valenciana” game

TEMPORALIZATION: Introductory Activities: -November: Presentation of the project in -December and January: Presentation activities -February and March: Specific sessions and jobshadowing. -April and May: Share, cooperate, and present the results with a collaboration between the students of the member countries along with their feedback. .
