Where does Thanksgiving come from?

It all began with the Pilgrims in the 1600s.

The Pilgrims were a group of people who left England because of religious reasons. They arrived in America in 1620 and they founded the Plymouth colony. The first year in their new home was very hard, and after a terrible winter of starvation, they had a big feast to celebrate their first harvest.
