*To tamper with something= to change something that you shouldn't

Something terrible has happened. This morning, when I arrived at the dungeons, I discovered that most of my most precious ingredients had been tampered* with... I'm looking into it, to determine whether this is another one of Peeves' jokes, or if someone more dangerous has broken into the school...
I need your help to get these ingredients back into their jars...
You have 30 minutes to find the best method for separating these mixtures... If you succeed, you'll get 5 points each for your
house. If you fail, you'll spend the night in the dungeons.
