How to use waste to produce energy

The use of waste as wastewater, agricultural and livestock waste, urban or industrial waste, remains of trees or crops, ...), for the generation of useful energy such as electricity or heat, is a source of energy production with great potential , which contributes on the one hand to a more sustainable waste management, and on the other, to reduce the energy dependence of other producing countries.

• The solid wastes can be converted into gas to produce energy. We can generate electricity by burning solid waste found in the landfills. A community must have a waste to energy facility that incinerates garbage and transforms chemical energy into thermal energy.

Sweden is considered the leading country in the generation of energy from garbage, because in this country of the total waste generated, only 4% reaches landfills, while the rest that is not recycled or reused, is used to generate energy by incineration.
