Serbia

Its capital, Belgrade, ranks among the oldest and largest cities in southeastern Europe. I personally live in Novi sad, it lays in center of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. I live in Novi Sad for my entire life and im not regreting it its very nice city with good citizens and great culture!

Serbia is a country situated at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe in the southern Panonian Plain and the central Balkans.The sovereign state borders Hungary to the north; Romania and Bulgaria to the east; Macedonia to the south; Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro to the west.

Novi sad is one of the most beautifull cities in Serbia.The city is pretty big and has a great history and culture.

Exit is an award-winning summer music festival which is held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. It was officially proclaimed as the 'Best Major European festival' at the EU Festival Awards, which were held in Groningen in January 2014 and 2018, while its Montenegrin edition Sea Dance festival won the "Best Mid-Sized European festival" Award in 2015.The EU Festival Award is considered as one of the most prestigious festival awards in the world.

So Novi Sad besides its beauty its very important city for Balkan and Europe.In Novi Sad there are being organized alot of international festivals. Biggest of them are Exit festival,and bunch of fairs(books,agriculture,energetics and investments).

The Petrovaradin Fortress

The Petrovaradin fortress is located on the right bank of the Danube, in Petrovaradin (Novi Sad), on the Petrovaradin rock. At the site of the previous medieval building, the present fortress was built by Austria between 1692 and 1780 due to the constant danger from the Turks and the vicinity of the border with the Ottoman Empire. Due to its size and dominance, it is also called Gibraltar on the Danube.

Electrical Engineering School "Mihajlo Pupin" is a high school from Novi Sad. The school is attended by about 2500 students.

My School

School Mihajlo Pupin is known for using latest computerand communicating technology in our classes. The students of our school were always, and even today, participants in many competitions and holders of many first prizes.

It is especially interesting that the basketball in Novi Sad was played for the first time in the yard of our school.It happened on May 17, 1924.

Mihailo Pupin was a scientist, inventor, professor at the University of Columbia, and Honorary Consul of Serbia to the United States.His most important, most famous discovery was Pupin's coals, which is why he was honored in the process of using these spools in telephone conversations on large distances called pupinization. Overall, he served great purpose in making science more understandable to many people, and helped invent many useful things we use to this day.
