Minces pies
A mince pie is a sweet pie, filled with a mixture of dried fruits and spices called `mincemeat´
Mulled wine
It is a hot drink that we can only find in Winter, especially during Christmas.

Christmas carols
Carols were songs and dances of praise and Joy in pagan times and the practice of Carol singing carried over into the Christian era.
Boxing day
19th century, when the servants could visit their families, loaded with gift packages and leftovers from the previous day's banquet. Traditionally it is a date to visit family and friends and it's a day of celebration with lots of beer, football games and other traditionally English sports.

Families with small children take the children every year to see Santa Claus, usually in Santa's Grotto place in the nearest town. It is a very special occasion for children, who take advantage of the visit to ask Santa Claus what they want for Christmas.
