Release 5.0b# is for Sage 200c VIP users only. It is not a mandatory update but highly recommended, as it contains a runtime update and resolves a number of reported issues

During the install process you will be able to rebuild and make a backup, be sure to use these options if you did not make on prior to running the installation. Important Information

No users will be able to access the application during the installation of the update

This updates contain a new runtime for Sage 200c VIP, and will require the AcuToWeb desktop utility to be installed on all workstations in a network environment

There are no updates for Premier ESS and Premier HR

It is important to inform all users of system downtime when you plan to do the update. Also ensure that you allow enough time to install the software and update the runtime

When must you install the Release 5.0b# update?

Important Information

Premier HR, PRemier ESS and Sage Self Service clients do not have to install any additional software

Your application has to be on Release 5.0b to be able to update to Release 5.0b#

Stop Further Entry and/or Forced Pay may not be activated when installing the update

This is a runtime-only install, and will not change any financial values on the payroll

Print Preview for Payslips and Screens

Print Preview (New Payslips and Screens) When you print New Payslips or Screen, where a print preview screen appears, the preview appears as an icon on the task bar, and was in the background when selected. This resulted in a perception that the print function does not work. This has been resolved in the runtime enhancement update, as the user will get the print preview in a new browser page, which will pop up in from of the current browser screen.

Multiple Payslip Logos

Multiple Payslip Logos When you have multiple payslip logo files in your system folder, the incorrect logo appeared in some instances on the payslip. This has been resolved with the runtime enhancement update.

Employee Lookup List - Duplication of input

Employee Lookup List - Duplication of input When typing in lookup data on the Employee Lookup List (Employee Code, Employee Name, Employee Surname), some characters typed duplicated. This has been resolved in this runtime enhancement update
