Sculpture "Bronze coat of arms of the city" This Landmark is located on the territory of Victory Avenue. The author of the monument isn V. Zhbanov, who is known in the city for his works "Parilshchik" and "Traveler". The monument is made of bronze in the form of a figure of a lion. It’s 2.5 meters high, and its weight is 750 kg. A feature of the monument is that it can be carefully considered from almost all sides. A bronze lion stands on its hind legs and rests on Lida’s large bronze emblem. Today, guests of the city come here to take memorable photos.

Lida castle 543x352 Lida castle is a symbol of our town and its main attraction. It was built at the confluence of Lideika and Kamenka rivers. Lida Castle was built by Prince Gedemin in 1323, it was the first stone castle on the territory of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The shape of the castle has an irregular quadrangle with two towers at the corners . The walls are made of large natural boulders. On the top of the walls there is a row of trapezoid loopholes of various sizes for shooters. Along the perimeter of the walls there is a battle gallery, which has a shed.

The Mound of immortalityThe Mound is a five-sided pyramid with a height of 7 m and a perimeter of 55 m. A capsule is mounted at the base of the barrow. The sacred land was brought from the Pulkovo Heights, Piskarevsky Cemetery, Mamayev Kurgan, Odessa Catacombs, Malakhov Kurgan, Pirchupis, Khatyn, Brest Fortress. In 1973, the Mound was supplemented with pylons.The metal box was opened on May 9, 1995, the day of the 50th anniversary of the Victory.

The sculpture "Parilshchik" The sculpture "Parilshchik" is located at Leninskaya Street at the entrance of the city bath-house. Residents of the city named the sculpture Vaska. Dozhinochnaya Square The square is located near the House of Culture and next to the Park of the Mound of Immortality. It has become a real decoration of the city during the Republican festival "Dozhinki-2010". Today, it gathers residents of Lida and its guests at all the most significant events for the region.

Sandglass In the city of Lida, near the Yubileiny cinema, a sundial carved from granite stone was installed in 2008. The watch dial is Roman. It is carved on a stone at a special angle so that the shadow of the sun shows time. On sunny days, the clock shows almost the exact time. The granite dial rests on three whales, on which, as legend says, the earth rests. The author of the sandglass is a famous Belarusian sculptor Richard Grusha.

Lida Brewery It is one of the oldest breweries in the republic. The plant was founded in 1876 by the resident of Lida Nosel Pupko. The company was focused on European countries. In 1939 the company was nationalized. In 1976, the brewery was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor . In 2009, the company became the part of the Finnish concern Olvi. From this point on, the plant began a new stage of development. All drinks are made on the basis of water from a 280-meter-deep water source located in the territory of the artesian plant, which appeared more than 10,000 years ago. Every year the LIDBEER festival is traditionally held, which attracts thousands of tourists to Lida.
