BROWN BEAR
It is a typical inhabitant of the mature forests of Europe, temperate Asia and North America.
LOCATION:
HABITAT:
The Browm bear lives in the North America, Europe and Asia.
DESCRIPTION:
The brown bear is characterized by its thick and dense fur, its small tail (only 7 or 8 cm) and its huge head, topped by two small rounded ears. It is the largest land animal of all Iberian fauna.
Food habits:
Brown bears often feed on a variety of plants, including berries, grasses, flowers, acorns, pine cones, fish, bugs, beetles and earthworms and bird’s eggs.
The brown bear is an omnivorous mammal . The brown bear can have 1 to 4 baby, but the majority is 2.
Reproduction:
The oldest recorded female in captivity was nearly 40 years old.
