By plane Bruges doesn´t have its own airport, the nearest airports are Brussels and Charleroi, from there you have to take a train to Bruges.

By car Bruges has very good access by car, although parking in the old town is very complicated, it is best to park in the outskirts of the city, or in the station and take a bus

By trainThe best way to arrive to Bruges is by train, the Belgian trains are quite reliable and cheap!

Bruges

You have buses that will take you to the most touristic points of the city. The single ticket costs € 1.20 (€ 2 if you buy it when boarding the bus). Buses run from 05:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and on weekends you also have night services.

If you want a romantic trip and take a horse carriage, you have them in the Grote Markt and its cost is about € 40 a half an hour (up to five people).

The bicycle is an excellent transport option, you have specialized establishments that rent them, the price per day goes from 10 to 12 euros.

Bruges is a pretty small city, and walking is the best option to get to know it.In only two hours you will have seen all its charms!

Another possibility to discover Bruges are the Hop on - Hop off buses. They leave every hour, doing a complete tour of about 50 minutes, for a price for adults of € 14.50, and children from 6 to 11 years € 8,50.
