Thermal power station of Castellón

It is a thermal power plant located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.It is operated by Iberdrola.

Where energy you consume come from?

Is a facility that exists for the purpose of generating electric power and sending it toward wherever it is needed. There are several different methods of generating electricity, but generally an electric power plant burns fossil fuels, such as coal, to heat water and produce steam.

What is an electric power plant?

Power plants in Spain

Central Hydroelectric

They are the current result of the evolution of the old mills that took advantage of the current of the rivers to generate energy.

It is an installation used in the generation of electric energy from the energy released in the form of heat, usually by the combustion of fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas or coal.

Nuclear power plant

Is a thermal power station in which the heat source is a nuclear reactor. As is typical in all conventional thermal power stations the heat is used to generate steam which drives a steam turbine connected to an electric generator which produces electricity.

The coal is burned in the furnace. The Steam turns the turbines, and the generator makes elctricity. Then the stean is cooled in cooling towers, and the water is turned to steam in the boiler
