The Sun

  • The Sun is the star of our Solar System.
  • The planets move around the Sun.
  • The Sun is able to shine and heats by itself.

Venus

  • Venus is the second planet nearest the Sun.

  • Mars has 2 moons.

Jupiter

  • Jupiter is the fifth planet nearest the Sun.
  • Jupiter is the biggest planet of our Solar System
  • Jupiter is made of liquid and gas.
  • Jupiter has 67 moons.
  • Jupiter is a Gas Giant.

Saturn

  • Saturn is the sixth planet nearest the Sun.
  • Saturn is made of liquid and gas, and it is very big.
  • Saturn has very big rings.
  • Saturn has 62 moons.
  • Saturn is a Gas Giant.

Uranus

  • Uranus is the seventh planet nearest the Sun.
  • Uranus is cold.
  • Uranus has rings, as Saturn, but smallers.
  • Uranus has 27 moons.
  • Uranus is a Gas Giant.

Neptune

  • Neptune is the planet farthest from the Sun.
  • Neptune is the smallest Gas Giant.
  • Neptune is the coolest planet of the Solar System.

Pluto

  • Pluto was a planet of the Solar System, but now is considered a Dwarf Planet.
  • Pluto has 5 moons.

Asteroids Belt

  • Asteroids are chunks of rock and metal that orbit around the Sun.
  • The Asteroid Belt is located between Mars and Jupiter.
