This presentation is about people who saw a problem in the fact that people are homeless and rejected from society. They thought that it is unthinkable that in XXI century the problem still exists and took matters into their own hands. And made an organisation. In this presentation I will share more information about it.

about?

Why did I choose it?

There are two simple reasons why I did it.First off, the topic of homelessness, poverty and addictions is never talked much of.Secondly, it's because I am so proud of the citizens of my city who started it that I decided it is absolutley worth showing to you all!

A bit of history

So... how did the organisation start?The history starts back in 1991, when citizens of Częstochowa noticed that there is an urgent need to help homeless people from the region. And this way in 1992 they started working as volunteers near to the shelter for homeless people. In a couple of years their organisation expanded to three successfuly colaborating parts. And they are:

• Volunteer team
• Family Help Center
• Association of Help Center

HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM?

AND WHAT IS THE CASE?

We all know that poverty and homelessness are bugging our world along with numerous addictions and illnesses. This case has always been present in our world, so I guess we got to a point where seeing a homeless man does not bother us too much. But we can make a difference to this state! Just as many people (e.g. those who set the "Agape" organization up) using some of the personal qualities (under the buttons) and joining some volunteering actions!

WE CAN HELP

what we must understand is that

Homeless people didn't just think one day that it would be nice living without a home. There is a never-ending list of reasons why those people lost all their possesions.We can not deny them their much needed help!

There is a bunch of useful ideas on what we can do to help homeless people. Because, yes! we can do a lot to help, even though we are all still really young!
