personal opinion

Speaking for myself, Jane Eyre is a book extremely flawless. It is unable stop reading, that attractive story involves you until the point you have to finish the book. It is a cruel and miserable story, with moments of passion and love, which have such a pleasant sensation. What's more, I'd like to point out the personal improvement and values of the main character, Jane.

about the author

She was born in Yorkshire, England on 1816. When her mother died, her aunt helped his father raise her and her siblings. Charlotte and three of her sisters were sent to a school for clergymen’s daughters. There, two of her sisters died because of tuberculosis, so she and her sister Emily were sent home. Some time later, Charlotte went to another school, Roe Head School, in England, where she became a teacher although sever years later she decided to become a governess. Soon she decided to leave her job and start her own school, which was unsuccessful. Then, Charlotte suggested that she, Anne, and Emily collaborate on a book of poems.

In 1847, Charlotte wrote Jane Eyre, a critique of Victorian assumptions about gender and social class, which became one of the most successful novels of its era, both critically and commercially.
