The cross is the place where Jesus carried our sins in his body and where he annulled the record of everything that was against us. 1ª Peter 2:24 "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 2:10 "...be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
The phrase "the blood of Christ" is used many times in the New Testament, and is the expression of the sacrificial death and the complete work of atonement for Jesus in our favor. The blood of Christ has the power to atone for an infinite number of sins committed by an infinite number of people over the centuries, and all those who put their faith in that blood will be saved.1 Pedro 1:18-19 "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."
The Trinity is one God who exists simultaneously in three persons. Each one is equal, powerful and eternal with the other. Each person, Father, Son and Holy Spirit is not the other; If one of the three were missing, there would be no God; all understand the same God. Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
A privilege and obligation of the Christian to communicate with God. With prayer we express our confession, petitions, intercessions and gratitude, etc., to our holy God. We are commanded to pray 1ª Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."
It is the abode of God and a place of eternal happiness for those who arrive there. John 14:2 "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
The Bible was written by about 40 men in almost 1600 years, dated between 1,500 BC. and about 100 AD These men wrote moved by the Holy Spirit, writing not with words of human wisdom but with words taught by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:13 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
