Endangered animals in the Basque Country

WILDCAT
His scientific name is "Felis silvestris"
LOCATION
The wildcat lives in South west and Central Asia, Africa, Europe.
HABITAT
It shelters in the trees, in abandoned burrows and in the rock fissures.
POPULATION
There are few individuals. It is not known with certainty how many there are.
DESCRIPTION
The species is very old and it's very large. The wild cat has bushy tail, long fur and stripes in the fur.
FOOD HABITS
It eats small rodents and birds. The wildcat consumes 600 gr of food a daily.
REPRODUCTION
It's a solitary cat, except gestation period. The wildcat has 1-7 kittens, and gestation period lasts 60-68 days.
IMPORTANT FACTS
It has a very good eyesight and hearing. But it has a weak sense of smell.
CAUSES OF BEING ENDANGERED
·We destroy his habitat.·We kill him for his skin.·The number of rabbits is reducing.
