BIOMASS:

This is energy obtained when organic matter (plants and animals) is burnt.It can also be transformed into other types of fuel, such as gas and alcohol.

HYDROELECTRIC:

This is energy produced by the movement of water. Electrical energy is generated at hydroelectric power stations.. Water is stored behind a dam. When water is released into the river, it flows through a turbine. The turbine then drives an electrical generator wich produces electricity,

SOLAR:

This energy derived from sunlight. It is used to generate hear and electricity. Solar energy is generated by photovoltaic solar panels. It can be used directly or fe transdormed into different type of energy.

EOLIC:

This is kinetic energy produced by the wind. It can be used directly or be transformed into a different type of energy. Eolic energy is produced on wind farmswich consist of dozens of wind turbines in rows. Wind moves the sails of the wind turbine. This mechanical energy drives an electrical generator, wich produces electricity.
